I’m a full time nurse consultant, blogger and social media community manager. I have a passion for curating evidence-based health information in unique ways, to promote and encourage informed care and healthy choices for my fellow Kansans.
I was raised on a farm in south central Kansas, where my parents taught me I could do anything I put my mind to. I graduated with a BS in Agriculture from Kansas State University. I aspired to be the editor of Successful Farming. Don’t laugh…I’m not kidding.
Fast forward 10 years later, I went back to school and obtained my nursing degree. Towing three children 6 and under who survived on an unknown number of pizza suppers.
When I’m home, I love gardening, cooking, Big 12 basketball and playing with my granddaughter. My sweetheart Don and I live on 4 peaceful acres near Wichita, KS.
